Celebration of Diversity

Class III

India is a country that has people belonging to different states. These different states accompany different sets of people who speak different languages and wear different clothes.
Even though there may be a lot of difference in different aspects, but still people love each other and celebrate this diversity.

The students of class 3 participated in an activity to represent the region they belong to. They, then, spoke a few lines to describe their region and the geographical diversity of India.
This activity taught them that even though they all have different backgrounds, they should still help each other and co-exist peacefully with the others.

My Stamp Album

Class I

Every stamp has a story to tell. Postal stamps play an important role in celebrating and promoting national heritage. The students of Grade 1 learnt about the use of postal stamps through an interesting collage making activity “My Stamp Album” on 8th October, 2021. Not only the children, parents as well as the grandparents enthusiastically participated in the activity and showed their collection of stamps.



With many languages, religions, music, dance, foods, architecture which differ from state to state, the Indian culture is an amalgamation of several cultures. It also foster respect and open-mindedness for other cultures even though there may be a lot of difference in different aspects, but still people love each other and celebrate this diversity.

The tiny tots of class 2 Bal Bharati Public School, Manesar participated in an activity to ‘Celebrate the Diversity” in INDIA in terms of culture and geographical features. This activity aimed at preparing students to value the rich cultural heritage and diversity of the country through an integrated approach on a virtual platform.



Cultural Education is an integral part of school education at all levels. By organizing different activities, BBPS, Manesar has been sensitizing its’ students about rich and diverse heritage and taking concrete steps to further promote and preserve it. India is called a tourists’ paradise. Teachers at Bal Bharati Public school always propel their students to develop an interest in the same. The school provides a healthy mix of modern learnings and cultural teachings to its students. We regularly organize cultural events in the school and focus at inculcating the learners with cultural values by means of various activities and events. We believe that teaching young children about the Indian culture makes them feel more connected with the country, enabling them to grow into responsible citizens of the nation. We had hence, conducted an activity named JINGLE E- TOURISM for grade 4 on October 8, 2021, through virtual platform to make them learn about the rich Indian culture and heritage in the most fun-filled manner and teach them

about India’s long-standing culture at an age when they are most impressionable.

This activity fulfilled its purpose when students depicted the rich culture, tourist interest places etc. in different ways and thus promoted the cultural heritage of India. It was a wonderful activity. Students really enjoyed a lot and learnt a lot too.

Independence Day Celebration

Class 1

As India celebrates its 75th Independence Day, every Indian heart is beating in the symphony of saffron, white and green. The Independence Day celebration has been done by Grade 1,in the morning assembly, during the online session. Student’s creativity has been channelized through an activity DRAMATIC CHAMPS. Children highlighted the significance of this auspicious day by remembering the inestimable contribution of our great Freedom Fighters.


Class II

“Mathematics is the art of giving same name and shape to different things” To make our classroom more interactive and informative a hands on activity “NEST OF SHAPES” was planned to encourage participation and to promote creative and aesthetic skills among students.

Little mathematicians of Class II were engrossed in creating beautiful sports equipment’s with different 2D and 3D shapes using eco-friendly material was really worth seeing on a virtual platform.  It was a day of Fun with Shapes.

Olympic Tree

Class IV

An activity 'Olympic Tree' was scheduled for the students of Class IV on 25th August 2021. The students made PPT on the most elite sports persons.


Class V

महानता के फूल प्रत्येक क्षत्रे में खिलते हैं| खेलों की दुनिया में भी अपनी खुसबू फैलाने वाले लाजवाब
फूलों की कमी नहीं है | इसी क्रम में कक्षा पांचवी के विद्यार्थियों ने कुछ कुछ प्रसिद्द पराओंलिम्पिक खिलाड़ियों
के चरित्र का मंचन करके अपने-अपने अनभुवों को साझा किया |

Role Play- Doctors

Class 1

Role play plays an important part in early childhood development. Nurturing our little ones with simple play ideas create beautiful and magical memories of a life time. When the fecilitators address the children as "Doctors" along with their names, it gives them the feeling of pride and happiness. Such playful learning leaves a permanent impression on children's mind and give them the opportunity to express themselves. Keeping this in view, Role Play activity was organised on July 23, 2021 for the students of class 1 wherein they dressed up as Doctors and explained their duties as Doctors.

Class 2

Role Play- Nelson Mandela

Class III

NELSON MANDELA was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, statesman and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was the country's first black head of state and the first elected in a fully representative democratic election.

He has been an inspiration to all and to know more about this famous personality, we had organized an activity *"JOURNEY OF MY LIFE"*

The students of grade III and IV played the role of Nelson Mandela and spoke a few lines. The activity taught them the power of education and enriched them with the knowledge about such a divine personality.

Class IV

School activities play a pivotal role in holistic development of the children. Bearing this in mind. BBPS, Manesar opens a window of opportunities for its students to develop their talents and skills through a plethora of activities.  Under personification (Journey of My Life- Nelson Mandela) - an activity was organised for the students of grade 4, which helped to stimulate their creativity and enhance communication skills.

Every students of grade 4 enthusiastically came forward, talked about revered Nelson Mandela, and spellbound us with their confidence and zest. Parents shared photographs and videos with the school. Children also learnt the importance of incorporating values from His life. In all, it was a great learning experience for the learners packed with knowledge and information.


Bone to Contention

Class V

In today’s competitive world it is very essential to teach your child about the outside world. Nowadays, children are largely engaged in technology and not getting involved in actual intercommunication. So, this arises the need to motivate children to get involved and participate in debates.

To develop self -expression and involvement, a debate activity was conducted in Class 5. Students of class 5 expressed their views confidently on topic Bone to Contention- WHY IS VOTING SUCH A CRUCIAL RIGHT FOR ANY CITIZEN?’’ It was a new and interesting topic for Class 5 students. Their enthusiasm and interest was worth appreciating.

Such activities help students to develop self – expression and opinions.

Mother’s Day

Class I

Little ‘Munchkins’ of grade 1 expressed their love and affection for their mothers by making beautiful greeting cards. The ‘Greeting Card’ making activity delivers the message that a mother is definitely a truest friend and a guide for every child.

My Mother- My World

Class II

"Mother- To the world she might be just a person, but for her child she is the whole world". Mothers are the emotional backbone of the family, who have the magic touch to heal all wounds and make all things beautiful and Mother's day is an extraordinary day when we show our gratitude to our mother. It's a day when we sit with our beloved mom and cherish some beautiful moments spent together. The students of Grade II of Bal Bharati Public School, Manesar fondly shared their holiday memory and their funny moments with their mom. All the memories shared showed the truth that a mother's love for her child knows no bound. The activity indeed made the bond between a mother and her child stronger because it's true that memories are for lifetime!

Mother's Day Celebration

Class III

Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. The International Mother's Day is observed on the second Sunday in May every year. This time our students of class 3 penned down their feeling and wrote beautiful poem for their mothers.

Kids recited the poem in the class and also made a card for their super moms. The poems were filled with emotions and gratitude. This activity gave the students the opportunity to give words to their feeling and also an exposure to their creative side.

Poem Composition

Class IV

A mother is the emblem of love and she selflessly showers upon all the affection she has on her children. She is the person, who, without the intention of getting anything in return sacrifices all her needs and wants just to get their children’s needs fulfilled. Without the presence of Mother, our own existence would not have been possible.

To express their gratitude towards their mothers’, the students of Grade IV composed poems on the occasion of Mothers’ Day and recited the same in class.


Class V

"Family is a compass that guides us"

Learning begins at home and to prove the statement right, the students of grade 5 enthusiastically indulged in taking interview of the member of their family who has inspired them in any way!

The activity enhanced the communication skills and also built up their confidence. Students and family members enjoyed the activity thoroughly.

Nutrition is important at every age. Children need proper nutrients to stay healthy and strong. Nutrition for children can also help establish a foundation for healthy eating habits and nutritional knowledge that a child can apply throughout life.

The children of Grade 1 learnt the nutritional values of different foods through an interesting Public Speaking activity “The Food Champs”. Children were excited to show their colourful and innovative posters of their favourite foods. Each child expressed himself/herself clearly and effectively on their chosen favourite food. The cheerful faces of the children were a cherry on the top. It was an apt way of inculcating healthy eating habits among young children.




Reading is to the mind as exercise is to the body!

And to keep one's reading on track, we need a Bookmark.

Students of grade 2 indulged in a wonderful Bookmark making activity under the theme "Animals for Earth" in which they beautified their marking tool (the bookmark) by pasting the picture of their favourite animal and brainstormed for writing one liners regarding their respective animals. The activity undoubtedly gave a boost to their creativity!




There is no doubt that education is the secret key of human success but art is the best way to enhance the creative abilities of students required to generate and appreciate future learning experiences because art makes learning fun. art and craft is well integrated into the curriculum so as to develop our students’ creativity and allow them to express their imagination freely. Keeping this in mind, a Puppet making and storytelling class activity was organized in the school for classes 3rd and 4th where in the children participated whole-heartedly and enthusiastically. 

The students made beautiful and attractive puppets with icecream sticks. Overall, the activity proved to be highly motivating for the students.

Human Internal Organs

Students of grade 5 enthusiastically participated in an interesting Science activity under the theme " Human internal organs" wherein they prepared posters using waste  materials. Students also shared their knowledge on functioning of internal organs respectively. The activity beautifully enhanced their knowledge and creativity!
