- Bring the diary to school each day.
- Come to school clean, well groomed and in proper uniform with shoes well polished.
- Be regular in attendance and never be late to school.
- Attend morning assembly without fail.
- Be fair and honest at work, always be considerate of the rights of others and be a good sportsman.
- Be courteous and respectful to parents, teachers and elders.
- Look after the property of the school, and help to keep it clean and tidy.
- Keep your classroom clean and tidy, throw waste paper, wrapper etc into the waste paper basket.
- Turn off the tap after drinking water.
- Switch off fans and lights when not in use.
- Don’t bring articles of values such as rings or pieces of jewelry to school. The school will not be held responsible for loss of such articles.
- Don’t lend or borrow money or any other article.
- Don’t make loud noise or create confusion in the classroom, school corridors or elsewhere in the school building.
- Don’t absent yourself from school. 75% attendance is the minimum requirement. Presence in the school is mandatory except an extraordinary circumstances.
- Ensure that the diary is carried by your ward to the school everyday.
- Check the diary everyday for any entries from the school. Also use the diary for communicating with the school.
- Ensure that your ward has breakfast and arrange for your ward to reach the school on time, at least 5 minutes before the school begins.
- Strict adherence to prescribed uniforms, cleanliness and personal hygiene is to be ensured.
- Make your small child learn to tie shoelaces on his/her own and zip and unzip his shorts.
- Always write your ward’s name, admission number and class at the back of any cheque and on every belonging of your child, including uniform.
- Sign all the notes sent by the school regularly and ensure that the child shows the diary to the teacher.
- Please refrain from directly visiting the classrooms at any time. The school office may be asked if there is requirement to do so.
- Monitor your ward’s progress and feel free to meet the concerned teacher by taking prior appointment.
- All requirements of leave should be applied for in advance, except in case of emergency. You are requested to fill up the Performa given in the diary.
- Intimate to the school any change in your address and telephone number. These are the vital in the interest and safety of the students.
- Students suffering from contagious diseases should not be sent to school.
- Parents should regularly check of all school circulars have been received.
- Parents should ensure that they spend sufficient time daily with their ward to ensure a good level of understanding.
- Parent teacher meeting should be utilized as a platform to interact with the teachers keeping in view the progress of the child.
- Parents may please ensure that the students do not bring mobile phones or any other electronic device to school.
- Please check the school website for notifications and updates.
- It is duty of each and every teacher to maintain discipline at all times and at all levels.
- Students should be encouraged to stand and greet there teachers whenever they come to their class or go out of their class. Students should also be encouraged to walk in an orderly manner without making noise especially while changing classes. Not more than two students should be allowed at the time to go out of the class.
- During lesion hours and such students should not leave their class without ‘Class Pass’.
- Students should not be sent on any personal errands during the teaching hours or even otherwise e.g. for fetching drinking water, for caring message to collogues or for caring attendance Register/ Teachers Diary/ Circular etc. in fact, no official document should be handled by the students.
- No official circular whether meant for students and / or Teacher will be issued by any teacher/ Class Co-coordinator/ Convener/ House Mistress without the counter signatures of the Principal.
- To curb in discipline among the students, issue of Defaulter Card ahs been introduce. A student is liable to get Defaulter Card from the Principal for any act of indiscipline such as missing classes without permission, using foul/ abusive/ unparliamentarily language/ stealing or destroying/ damaging/ disfiguring school property, coming late to school, etc.
- Students should be escorted from the assembly area to their respective classrooms by their class teachers. Similarly, when the classes for the day end, student must be escorted from their classrooms right up to the ground floor/ school gate.
- Teachers should themselves display exemplary behavior. Teachers have to be courteous always. While dealing with students or their parents, be firm but polite. Don’t ever enter into an argument.
- Teachers should always be ready to lend a helping hand to their colleagues in matters relating to school. Don’t discuss your colleagues with your students.
- Teachers should be available in town during the first week after the commencement of the summer break and a week prior to the re opening of the school.
The diary must be complete in all respects i.e. syllabus, project work, PTM report etc. - The diary must reach the Principal on every Monday and lesson plan for the coming week should be made well in advance.
- Punctuality is an important virtue, which should be adhered to religiously. Any member who is marked late thrice a month will be liable to loose one Casual Leave.
