On Saturday, 4 July 2026, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Gurugram, conducted a vital awareness session on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, at Bal Bharati Public School Manesar premises from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM. The session was specially organised for students of classes 9 to 12 as well as teaching & non-teaching staff members, with DLSA Panel Advocates Ms. Sunita Panchal and Ms. Sunita Tiwari serving as the key speakers. The session focused on child protection, mandatory reporting, child-friendly procedures, the role of the Juvenile Justice system, Special Courts, false complaints, and suo motu cognizance under the Act.
